Uh oh, Macbook Air lacks user battery replacement.

Friday, January 25th, 2008

There is for sure something unconventional about the Macbook Air, its thin design, it blows the minds but it also irritates… no optical drive, lacks in-built modem, Ethernet and in audio source…phew. Is it going to make it far? (more…)

Future of Mouse Technology Begins with the SafeType Mouse

Friday, December 14th, 2007

Seriously, my right thumb was hurting like crazy last night. This is the first time since I learned to tap on a keyboard and used a mouse a decade ago. I decided to use the trackpad instead but my sore thumb was just aching for the mouse button and scroll wheel.
But I think good old mouse will forgive me if I I switch to the SafeType Mouse. It’s a revolutionary watch in Space Navigator’s fashion. The hi-tech mouse allows the arms, shoulder, and hand muscles to relax and be more comfortable ever. (more…)

Sony Holographic Vaio Zoom: Too bad it’s just a concept

Friday, December 7th, 2007

Okay, stop drooling. The laptop from Sony you see above is just a concept so don’t expect I’d list the technical specs. This Sony Vaio concept was designed by Japanese Eno Setiawan. Looks like the modern world is more than ready to go into the Star Wars future what with the holographic technology that we can see. The Holographic Vaio Zoom concepts features glass keyboard and screen when off. When turned on, the touchscreen technology comes to life. But I still think we’re far from seeing this technology on laptops. No, not yet, since the multi-touch screen technology has just entered the gadget scene.

BTC XEUS Dual 150DS : Monitor Transformers

Friday, December 7th, 2007

I’ve heard of people using 2 separate monitors at the same time but I have yet to see a model than can actually be used in more ways than one. BTC, a Korean company, recently released 15-inched dual monitors called the “150DS” in Korea. First look at the product, I remembered the phenominal Transformers. This may not turn to a truck, car, or a plane but the monitor is just plain beneficial especially to those in the customer service industry.

Currently available for the Korean market, there is still no report on the price and when it will be available to the rest of the gadget-hungry countries.

Gem-embedded flash USB: See the sparkle in her eyes

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Okay, so there have been a dime a dozen USB drives out there, each one outdoing the other in terms shape, size and overall design. But then in the gold-and diamond-studded style culture of today, it’s not been untill now that these little useful devices have had their fair share of the pie right?

What you see up there is yet another wierdly designed flash USB, except that is one is gem-studded. Of course, it makes for some great looks and yeah the stylish ones can team it up as a chain on their neck, the only difference being that this one is a useful one. (more…)

Everyone can make a stylish, elegant looking watch, but not many can make something that truly stays close to your heart right? Exmocare’s been looking to break that jinx for a while now, and from what we learn of its new creation, it looks like its got something great in the offering.

Buenísimo, ¿no?

Okay, so we’ve seen tonnes and tonnes of wireless computer appliances, so seeing yet another wireless mouse is not something that amazes us right? But what might set our hopes high on this one, is th fact that it’s wireless and can be worn like a ring around the finger. Yeah, it means quite a few more buttons that you learn to deal with, but this one makes up for it all by looking good. (more…)
