Verbarius:文字时间钟

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

(more…)

Hey online friend, wake me up at 6 a.m

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

Gosh, we’ve seen so many wake up concepts, that it seems better to just time your body to being up at a certain time each morning, than leaving yourself in the hands of technological mongrels. But maybe. this concept that we have here is something refreshing and totally with the times. Talk about networking, and everyone has an opinion on it. Oh the age of facebook and myspace have quite revolutionised the way people keep in touch, so why not put it to some good use too? For example, the site that we have here, sleep.fm lets your networking buddies wake u up each morning with an audio track or well, (more…)

Barbie MP3 Player: I Like!

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

Barbie Music PlayerOh no, another pink gadget but this one I particularly like. Seriously, I can forget about buying an iPod Touch to replace my 3 year old iPod Mini which I name Polly. And besides, I don’t get to listen to the thousands of songs I store so I guess this 2 GB model would be enough. Innoman was fortunate to have been given by Mattel, Barbie’s home, to produce a girly music player. Called ‘B2′, this player features an ‘L-type touch screen’ and 1.1 inch OLED.Aside from MP3 playback, the B2 also comes with FM radio, image viewer, and voice recorder.

Sony Holographic Vaio Zoom: Too bad it’s just a concept

Friday, December 7th, 2007

Okay, stop drooling. The laptop from Sony you see above is just a concept so don’t expect I’d list the technical specs. This Sony Vaio concept was designed by Japanese Eno Setiawan. Looks like the modern world is more than ready to go into the Star Wars future what with the holographic technology that we can see. The Holographic Vaio Zoom concepts features glass keyboard and screen when off. When turned on, the touchscreen technology comes to life. But I still think we’re far from seeing this technology on laptops. No, not yet, since the multi-touch screen technology has just entered the gadget scene.

BTC XEUS Dual 150DS : Monitor Transformers

Friday, December 7th, 2007

I’ve heard of people using 2 separate monitors at the same time but I have yet to see a model than can actually be used in more ways than one. BTC, a Korean company, recently released 15-inched dual monitors called the “150DS” in Korea. First look at the product, I remembered the phenominal Transformers. This may not turn to a truck, car, or a plane but the monitor is just plain beneficial especially to those in the customer service industry.

Currently available for the Korean market, there is still no report on the price and when it will be available to the rest of the gadget-hungry countries.

Wireless Spy Camera Pen: They’ll just keep guessing

Sunday, December 2nd, 2007

chinavasion-CVDLM-SWP620-1-Wireless Spy Camera PenOkay so maybe the days of dark sunglasses and Wrigley’s chewing gums as spy cams are as much a joke, as shooting theives with a bow and arrow is, but then maybe the security guys won’t find the newest invention as funny. One because, they don’t know about it yet, and second, when they do know, they’ll be wondering why they hadn’t been expecting this. This thing will play the big daddy game for you: A pen with a wireless mini spy camera that also comes with a solar charger for effortless charging and also has an MP4/Wireless receiver which will help you with all the recording. Gem-embedded flash USB: See the sparkle in her eyes

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Okay, so there have been a dime a dozen USB drives out there, each one outdoing the other in terms shape, size and overall design. But then in the gold-and diamond-studded style culture of today, it’s not been untill now that these little useful devices have had their fair share of the pie right?

What you see up there is yet another wierdly designed flash USB, except that is one is gem-studded. Of course, it makes for some great looks and yeah the stylish ones can team it up as a chain on their neck, the only difference being that this one is a useful one. (more…)

Amazon’s Kindle: A revolution in archiving your favourite read-ups

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Of all the technology that we keep hearing about these days, eBookreaders seem to be the things we hear most about. But no technology reaches its peak of recognition untill a major techno-giant launches one of its own right? Maybe that’s what Amazon’s new eBookReader would do to the market segment.

The Kindle, that it is officially known, was announced today. What does it have to offer? 30 hour battery life, direct download with Sprint ( no computer would be required) and weighs just 10.3 ounces. (more…)

Voice-controlled blender: For those lazy types

Monday, November 26th, 2007

For the chauvinistic men in the world for whom women are nothing more than mere maids at home, this might be a good reason not to get married. What we have here is the Voice-controlled blender. Yeah, you heard it right. So going back to the topic of chauvinistic men, if all kitchen appliances became voice-controlled someday, you can imagine men naming them after every woman they’ve slept with, and calling out to them to perform those cooking and cleaning functions that these appliances are meant to do. Alas, for them, it’s not that much of an ideal world yet. (more…)
