No More Cold Feet with Soothing Herbal Heat Slippers

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

Since the 1st of December, I could feel the cold wind Christmas season brings. I have to take a hot shower, wear thicker clothes, not use the air-con, and wear a pair of socks while sleeping! And it’s not even snowing. Not that we have snow in my side of the world..it’s just freezing. So I bet the Soothing Herbal Heat Slippers will be ideal when I want comfortable warmth.

At first glance you’d think it’s a pair of baby shoes but this one’s for adults. The slippers come with removable herbal insert that can be stored inside a microwave when you want heat or the freezer when you need a little cold therapy. The slippers are made of sherpa fleece and has polyester soles that are non-slip. (more…)

Barbie MP3 Player: I Like!

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

Barbie Music PlayerOh no, another pink gadget but this one I particularly like. Seriously, I can forget about buying an iPod Touch to replace my 3 year old iPod Mini which I name Polly. And besides, I don’t get to listen to the thousands of songs I store so I guess this 2 GB model would be enough. Innoman was fortunate to have been given by Mattel, Barbie’s home, to produce a girly music player. Called ‘B2′, this player features an ‘L-type touch screen’ and 1.1 inch OLED.Aside from MP3 playback, the B2 also comes with FM radio, image viewer, and voice recorder.

BTC XEUS Dual 150DS : Monitor Transformers

Friday, December 7th, 2007

I’ve heard of people using 2 separate monitors at the same time but I have yet to see a model than can actually be used in more ways than one. BTC, a Korean company, recently released 15-inched dual monitors called the “150DS” in Korea. First look at the product, I remembered the phenominal Transformers. This may not turn to a truck, car, or a plane but the monitor is just plain beneficial especially to those in the customer service industry.

Currently available for the Korean market, there is still no report on the price and when it will be available to the rest of the gadget-hungry countries.

Gold iPod Touch: Not Another Blinged Gadget

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Blinged products are in. Well, not exactly…but there is a market for anything pink, gold, and studded. Every week, a new item is added to the list of blinged up gadgets in the world. Now comes the Gold iPod Touch from the Golden Store. Not that it’s a more surprising news. The gadget girls and the rest of the world are just waiting for a gold version to be released.

No Apple iPod Touch features were added to this model, only it was plated in 24 karat Gold. Obviously, the price for the 8 GB and 16 GB models are far from Steve Job’s suggested retail price. The 8GB is available for 600 Euro, that’s a little less than $900 while the higher model costs 800 Euro($1,180).

Are there people really buying golden gadgets? I have yet to see someone carrying one and attracting thieves.

Texture Replacement Technology: The Moviemakers are happy

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Okay so we’ve seen some wonders happening with technology, and tech has all but made life simpler and simpler for the movie-makers. Looks like they’re in for some more good surprises though. What we have here is a unique technology by computer graphics researchers Volker Scholz and Marcus Magnor designed to enable you to swap out textures on clothing. Hold on. It’s not technically as easy as it sounds. The texture replacement technology uses a complex algorithm which encodes the coordinates of textures in a sampled video sequence, (more…)

iRing: Remote Jewelry for Your iPod

Friday, November 30th, 2007

iring2I should be busy searching for a wedding ring but the iRing definitely caught my eye. Designed by artist Victor Soto , the iRing controls playback with your wireless and Bluetooth enabled Apple gadgets such as the iPhone and the iPod. It comes with a touch-sensitive OLED display.

The iRing lets you control the volume, play, and pause your favorite song or video. It may not have 4 karat stones but it’s definitely worth a second glance.

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

Everyone can make a stylish, elegant looking watch, but not many can make something that truly stays close to your heart right? Exmocare’s been looking to break that jinx for a while now, and from what we learn of its new creation, it looks like its got something great in the offering. What it has managed to develop is a wrist watch that records your heart rate, heart rate variability, movement and galvanic skin response, all of which helps it understand your emotional condition. Smart Wardrobe : Perfect for the Closet Queens

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

Seriously, the Smart Wardrobe is what I have in mind all these years. My cabinet is overflowing with clothes and I’ve always wanted to have a computerized walk-in-closet. But I don’t live in a mansion so I have to live with just buying cabinets to store my new clothes. The Smart Wardrobe reminds me of Alicia Silverstone’s character Cher’s closet in the now classic movie “Clueless” where she had a remote controlled closet and Princess Mia’s closet in “Princess Diaries”. For my own closet, I thought of taking pictures of my clothes and shoes and upload them to an online album that I could easily browse. (more…)

Soul Fusion Glow Shoes for Next Level Clubbing

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

If you’re aching for attention, then you must get a pair of Soul Fusion Glow Shoes. It is a really chunky footwear that allows anyone to really be the center of attention especially at clubs. The shoes’ soles glow very brightly in the darkness. Light comes from the lite sticks that can be easily replaced.

Soul Fusion Glow Shoes can be perfect for those into clubbing and parties. Anyone would surely stand out with it. Other types of people who’d probably want to “glow” with the shoes are the skateboarders, break dancers, or joggers and bikers at night. Or perhaps those who like dark places but still want to be seen and definitely not me. Besides, I still prefer wearing flip flops than sneakers.
