Another iPod Model Cloned

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

Now, there have been many fake versions of the iPhone and the iPod circulating in the black market. I’ve also seen fake Nokia N95s so a clone of the new generation stubby iPod Nano did not surprise me at all. I just wonder why people won’t just buy the real thing. Price perhaps is the biggest factor but with this Nano, I say, the added camera feature explains it.

Steve Job’s Apple hasn’t really been generous with the trigger happy cam whores because iPods still have no cameras to boot. And so the M2406MP4 player is a cheaper alternative. It comes with 2.4 inch video screen, 2.0MP camera, built in speaker that iPods still don’t have, and guess what—a Mini SD slot. iPod Nano okays AVI video format as well as MP3,WMA,WMV, and WAV audio files.

mStation’s Theatrebar: “Coming soon” at a store near you

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

If you’ve been doing the rounds of all major electronic salehouses offlate, expecting something pleasurable and un-usual to come out of the shelves, you’ve definitely not been too lucky, have you? Maybe you’ll be in for a few surprises when you walk into mStation, which as we all know has a track record of offering us some fairly good deals. What they have as of now in the “coming soon” (I love it when they call something that; it makes the most uninteresting things interesting) category is a theatrebar that is slim and sleek enough to go with the ambience of your room without destroying the sex appeal of your flatscreen. Barbie MP3 Player: I Like!

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

Barbie Music PlayerOh no, another pink gadget but this one I particularly like. Seriously, I can forget about buying an iPod Touch to replace my 3 year old iPod Mini which I name Polly. And besides, I don’t get to listen to the thousands of songs I store so I guess this 2 GB model would be enough. Innoman was fortunate to have been given by Mattel, Barbie’s home, to produce a girly music player. Called ‘B2′, this player features an ‘L-type touch screen’ and 1.1 inch OLED.Aside from MP3 playback, the B2 also comes with FM radio, image viewer, and voice recorder.

BTC XEUS Dual 150DS : Monitor Transformers

Friday, December 7th, 2007

I’ve heard of people using 2 separate monitors at the same time but I have yet to see a model than can actually be used in more ways than one. BTC, a Korean company, recently released 15-inched dual monitors called the “150DS” in Korea. First look at the product, I remembered the phenominal Transformers. This may not turn to a truck, car, or a plane but the monitor is just plain beneficial especially to those in the customer service industry.

Currently available for the Korean market, there is still no report on the price and when it will be available to the rest of the gadget-hungry countries.

These are nothing but credit card sized video players, that are totally packed with the best features, so don’t just go by their size. Gold iPod Touch: Not Another Blinged Gadget

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Blinged products are in. Well, not exactly…but there is a market for anything pink, gold, and studded. Every week, a new item is added to the list of blinged up gadgets in the world. Now comes the Gold iPod Touch from the Golden Store. Not that it’s a more surprising news. The gadget girls and the rest of the world are just waiting for a gold version to be released.

No Apple iPod Touch features were added to this model, only it was plated in 24 karat Gold. Obviously, the price for the 8 GB and 16 GB models are far from Steve Job’s suggested retail price. The 8GB is available for 600 Euro, that’s a little less than $900 while the higher model costs 800 Euro($1,180).

Are there people really buying golden gadgets? I have yet to see someone carrying one and attracting thieves.

Texture Replacement Technology: The Moviemakers are happy

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Okay so we’ve seen some wonders happening with technology, and tech has all but made life simpler and simpler for the movie-makers. Looks like they’re in for some more good surprises though. What we have here is a unique technology by computer graphics researchers Volker Scholz and Marcus Magnor designed to enable you to swap out textures on clothing. Hold on. It’s not technically as easy as it sounds. The texture replacement technology uses a complex algorithm which encodes the coordinates of textures in a sampled video sequence, (more…)

miShare : iPod Breaking Up with the PC

Saturday, December 1st, 2007

classic_mishare_classic_white miShare iPod Breaking Up with the PCSetting apart the iPod from other MP3 players is perhaps its inability not to inter-share with other music players or computers. You need to have iTunes to play and while extracting the audio file you like is now possible with programs like Senuti , every one will agree that an iPod to iPod transfer will be perfect. Now comes the miShare, a really small gadget that allows audiophiles like you and me to share files, MP3s, videos, photos, and playlists. (more…)

Wet n’ MP3: iShower everyday …

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

The thing about the iPod is that it is indispensable from every part of life. Well, but the next time you want that girl, check out your new playlist as this might be a place to take her, behind the shower curtains, the iPod Shower Radio. This is for sure going to make me happy when I want to practice my vocals when I am getting ready for work. (more…)
