Okay, stop drooling. The laptop from Sony you see above is just a concept so don’t expect I’d list the technical specs. This Sony Vaio concept was designed by Japanese Eno Setiawan. Looks like the modern world is more than ready to go into the Star Wars future what with the holographic technology that we can see. The Holographic Vaio Zoom concepts features glass keyboard and screen when off. When turned on, the touchscreen technology comes to life. But I still think we’re far from seeing this technology on laptops. No, not yet, since the multi-touch screen technology has just entered the gadget scene.
Blinged products are in. Well, not exactly…but there is a market for anything pink, gold, and studded. Every week, a new item is added to the list of blinged up gadgets in the world. Now comes the Gold iPod Touch from the Golden Store. Not that it’s a more surprising news. The gadget girls and the rest of the world are just waiting for a gold version to be released.
No Apple iPod Touch features were added to this model, only it was plated in 24 karat Gold. Obviously, the price for the 8 GB and 16 GB models are far from Steve Job’s suggested retail price. The 8GB is available for 600 Euro, that’s a little less than $900 while the higher model costs 800 Euro($1,180).
Are there people really buying golden gadgets? I have yet to see someone carrying one and attracting thieves.
Setting apart the iPod from other MP3 players is perhaps its inability not to inter-share with other music players or computers. You need to have iTunes to play and while extracting the audio file you like is now possible with programs like Senuti , every one will agree that an iPod to iPod transfer will be perfect. I should be busy searching for a wedding ring but the iRing definitely caught my eye. Designed by artist Victor Soto , the iRing controls playback with your wireless and Bluetooth enabled Apple gadgets such as the iPhone and the iPod. It comes with a touch-sensitive OLED display.
The iRing lets you control the volume, play, and pause your favorite song or video. It may not have 4 karat stones but it’s definitely worth a second glance.
Okay, I can hear shouts of “pink stuff again!” now. I like pink but I don’t like my gadgets to be pink but this one certainly caught my attention. Not because it screams girl power but my lust for an LCD TV is the culprit. The pink Sony Bravia S Flat Panel HDTV can be added to any girl’s growing addiction to pink gadgets.
