Video-on-demand: Netflix Unlimited Streaming

Netflix TVIt was always fun going to the mailbox for getting the DVDs, now the movie buffs can sit for unlimited time in front of the monitor, and stream unlimited hours of video from the Netflix service. The company just announced there service coincidently with Macworld announcing the iTunes movie rentals. They had this service but there was always a limited amount of hours with respect to your subscription plan. On the contrary, the iTunes movie rentals are going to be $3.99 for 24 hours of a rental movie. The company which is already on the top of the scene of movie rentals via the internet is trying to stay on top of the business. Whereas, the challenger iTunes is the biggest market share holder in the market of music downloads, and is now stepping into movie business more openly while simultaneously new hardware like the iPod Touch and the iPod Nano video which would only support their service (iTunes). These movie rentals from iTunes were announced by Steve Jobs at the Macworld. The competition in the market for streaming and download makes it better for the customer with more choice and avoids monopoly.
