iSlip won’t let you go pick your baby while at work!
Well we all have stuff to do during our typical weekdays, be it running some important errand or picking up the baby from school, and we’re all great doing that, so long as we are not disturbing our work schedules, right? But the fact is that the white-collared guys in the Goverment don’t think so or well iSlip helps it not to think so.
Just in case you were planning to skip the next big hearing and take your goverment-gifted vehicle and run to pick up your baby, think again. From what we hear, those cars are going to have GPS, which will be used to track you down, wherever you are. And well, if someone catches you with that hot date down the lane sipping coffee while you’re supposed to be documenting policies somewhere, then you’re in for something big when you whistle your way back the corridors of your work place.
Islip, Rhode Island, has equipped government issue vehicles with tracking devices.Of course the ones at the receiving end are not happy about it and think it is a thorough invasion of privacy and personal space. But then the good news is that 14,000 gallons of gas was saved as employees couldn’t go hobnobbing while at work, no more.
