The market for pink gadgets is becoming a big one. Pink laptops, digital cameras, mobile phones, and etc. can be spotted almost everywhere. And obviously, this new pink MP3 watch from Skullcandy is another addition to to the growing “pinkness” of female audiophiles. This is certainly not the first pink MP3 watch but a first from a reputable watch company–Skullcandy. This music player can store up to 1 GB of MP3s and also comes with a voice recorder. Watch is waterproof but I highly doubt if music can be played underwater.

Skullcandy’s Pink Bully MP3 Watch also allows voice recording with its built-in microphone. Any girl would love to be seen with this fashionable music player. But with only a gig of memory, the $200 price tag may not be worth it.Hefty I must say.

So is the name Pink Bully appropriate? I think it would be better if we call this the “Pink Lovely”.

Musik-Downloads wachsen um 37%: Im dritten Quartal 2007 wurden in Deutschland 9,3 Mio “digitale Produkte” aus dem Internet gekauft und heruntergeladen. Dies hat das Marktforschungsinstitut media control GfK mitgeteilt. Das abgelaufene Quartal sei das stärkste Einzelquartal in der Geschichte gewesen, so eine Sprecherin des Instituts. Der Zuwachs entspreche 37,1% zum Vergleichszeitraum des Vorjahres. Der Großteil der von Juni bis September heruntergeladenen Titel waren einzelne Songs. (more…)

Berichten der PC Welt zufolge soll das mit Spannung erwartete Windows-Smartphone SGH-i720 von Samsung deutlich verbessert werden. Google’s stock topped $620 for a moment today before settling down to $614.41, a $4.79, 0.79 percent advance over its record-breaking performance Monday.The advance came as a Lehman Bros. analyst revised his target for the popular stock to $714.Google’s share price broke $600 for the first time Monday, closing at $609.62. It reached $623.78 and dipped to $608.39 in trading today.More than 37 billion searches worldwide went through Google in August, accrding to a report by comScore’s qSearch 2.0 service. Roughly 60 percent of all searches, the figure is higher than Google’s 50 percent in the United States.Yahoo came in second worldwide with 8.5 billion searches, followed by Baidu at 3.3 billion and Microsoft Corp. at 2.2 billion.

The decision of Apple to keep the now infamous iPhone a closed platform is giving competitors like Nokia a marketing advantage. Nokia, being one of the leaders in mobile phone industry, won’t let Apple take its crown. The ads “Open to Anything” is obviously aimed at iPhone users who by now, some of them are pissed that their new multi-touch phones are being locked once again. This marketing strategy is smart I should say. Makes you really think if you made the right decision to join the bandwagon of iPhone users. (more…)

I recently removed the pink and purple butterfly sticker on my MacBook because I wanna go back to the “classic white look” Apple is famous for. But my jaw dropped when I saw the gold MacBook Pro. If drooling for a MacBook Pro is bad enough…then one in gold. Looks like I’ll be having a hard time sleeping. And yes, what with the total bling factor, any Apple lover would surely stand out with this model. (more…)
