iKaraoke: Singing it like a pro right from your iPod

Regardless of whether or not our voices are actually in tune, in each of us is a singer who just loves to belt it out. No wonder that Karaoke machines have been such a blast and that in some places, Karaoke bars mushroomed all over the place, and has been a popular haunt for friends to celebrate or to simply relax. Thanks to iKaraoke, we can now practice hitting those notes without the risk of being laughed at by a roomful of friends. An incredibly clever iPod accessory, the iKaraoke from Griffin Technology sends the music from the iPod to the stereo and fades out the lead vocals. A nifty button removes the frequency that contains the vocals, therefore allowing wannabe singers to step out and belt it out without Beyonce or Celine Dion outsinging them. Cool isn’t it? The iKaraoke could be hooked up to a stereo using the line-in cable, or wirelessly through the FM receiver.

But the best bit is that the iKaraoke lets us sing whatever song we like, and not just standard Karaoke night songs (read: My Way). Rap, alternative, ballads, pop? No matter what kind of song we fancy singing to, iKaraoke will make us feel like the star that we think we are. So let’s grab that iMic and sing it ala-Britney, shall we not?
