(more…)

The examEAR: The perfect cheat

Monday, August 20th, 2007

Tired of doing the grunt work just to scrape through school, and in spite of all that effort get screwed at home for not having been at the top? Can’t stop cursing the school’s management for blocking ever possible way of cheating your exams just so that you can have a well, more desirable future? Consider studies a waste of time, and as sheer means to earn a livelihood if kicked out of home someday?
If your answer was yes to any of the questions mentioned above, then you´ll be interested in the examEAR, a tiny wireless spy earpiece. Hold on, don’t jump off the ceiling yet. It’s great for you to pass through one exam this way (although I still think it’s a waste), coz after a certain point, you got to study to get somewhere in life boy, coz believe it or not, you cannot ace your interview questions with a wireless earpiece.

Disney’s bawdy market penetration techniques

Thursday, August 16th, 2007

If you thought the effect of Disney in the life of your kids was only as long as they watched all those snazzy cartoons or went bicycling on their Disney bikes wearing those Disney T-shirts, then you are simply mistaken.
For one, Disney is not one to limit its core market penetration unless they´re forced to. So to your surprise there are a thousand bawdy yet kiddy looking devices out there by Disney costing almost nothing.
Good for you if keeping your kids happy yet your pockets heavy is on your agenda, but personally these things look way too ghorry to even be allowed to be with kids. (more…)

Cut me a piece of battery, will ya?

Tuesday, August 14th, 2007

The above is a battery that looks like a piece of paper and can be bent or twisted, trimmed with scissors or molded into any shape needed. While the battery is only a prototype a few inches square right now, the researchers at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute who developed it have high hopes for it in electronics and other fields that need smaller, lighter power sources.
The battery uses paper infused with an electrolyte and carbon nanotubes that are embedded in the paper. The carbon nanotubes form the electrodes, the paper is the separator and the electrolyte allows the current to flow.

Free DVR Recording Software: For lovers of the 30 second wonders on DVR

Tuesday, August 14th, 2007

For those who would rather watch the sweet humming in the ads of the delicious Godiva or Lindt chocolates, rather than impatiently zipping past it to continue with whatever you’re watching, this equipment might seem like the ultimate thing. This is also great for those who hate having to rush out of kitchens to avoid skipping that much liked product being advertised on the DVR. Yes, an advertisers’ haven, this one is a free recording software that will be brought out by Time Warner Cable later this year, for their advertisement friendly customers, and at no extra cost. It will help you quickly record the advert for later to view it in comfort once you’re free of all random chores. (more…)

Super-size my remote

Monday, August 13th, 2007

If you’re Mr. Clumsy, whose permanent excuse to your mom or girlfriend when you’re caught watching a ‘not-so-family-channel’ is ‘The keys on this remote are just way too small, it just happened by mistake’, then you can just forget about it coz if mamma reads this, she is going to get smarter and rid you off that excuse forever.
What you see up there is not some creative looking flattened dumbbell to make you stand out while you sweat it out. It is in fact, a remote that is compatible with almost every DVD, VCR, and cable boxes. The keys on it are so big; well the remote it self is so huge, you could never possibly misplace it or well switch on to the wrong channel. It’s also especially useful for those with not-so-delicate fingers as an anorexic would say.
Setup is easy and programming is retained even during battery changes. (more…)

Space Invaders Travel Bag: Invasive exploring for Arcade fans

Monday, August 13th, 2007

We all love to carry our favorite superheroes, games, idols, and all those crazies around on our bags, T-shirts, socks, and even inners, don’t we? And I personally think its cool, coz everything we choose to reflect, is a mirror of our personality isn’t it? For all those who think the arcade classic, Space Invaders, can be an apt prop to detail their personality, the Space Invaders travel bag will of course be a true blue classic. The travel bag with a long strap and made of Black PVC, is reminiscent of the all-color rainbow hued version of the classic, and of course comes in a very well-mannered arrangement of those crabby little creatures. Moreover, even if you think it’s slightly silly and you would want to carry it only on those ‘lonely’ venture-outs, this one costs just $45, so it’s not that deadly an investment to regret. It is available from Korea’s DCX Design Complex.

Warm up to the cuddly kitten

Sunday, August 12th, 2007

I know it´s summer and staying warm may be the least of your worries right now. But let me tell you, in San Francisco the summers get pretty chilly and hey, Christmas (and the tax man) will come around for sure. Whatever the case may be, you don’t need to freeze your ass on at an icy place. You can simple warm up with a cute little companion.
Don’t get your naughty mind working now. What I am telling you about is the Hello Kitty Hand Warmer. Just plug it into the socket for about 5-10 minutes. Once you’ve done that just put it into your pockets, and voila, you’re all set to enjoy a whole hour of warm toasty hands. Pretty neat I think, considering     (more…)
