Smallest humanoid robot soon replaces whacky toys for kids
No, they are not two toys in sync, imitating Sylvester John and Arnold Schwarzenegger ice-skating while wooing some chicks with their muscles; they are in fact, the world’s smallest humanoid robots.
Only 165 mm in height and 350 gms in weight, the iSobot (that’s what it’s called) is packed with 17 micro-actuators and a gyro-sensor. Well the white one is going to be available only domestically, which of course would be Japan (the home-country of the creative minds), and the black one would be exported soon.
Estimated to be available for purchase by the 25th of October, this robotic cutie, which makes humans feel a tad less intimidated has been brought out by Tomy, a reputed name in toy-making.
